Log your food & track your nutrition

Keeping track of your meals, calories, and macros in Studio Era is simple. You can log food in three different ways:

  1. Choose a recipe from the On-Demand section

  2. Search for a food in the Food Library

  3. Scan the barcode of a packaged food


Choose a recipe from the on-demand section

Easily log balanced meals with pre-set recipes that adjust servings and track nutrition for you.

  1. From your home screen, tap Nutrition.

  2. Tap Recipes in the bottom right corner.

  3. Browse and select a recipe by tapping on it.

  4. Choose the number of servings you’d like to make. Follow the instructions to prepare your meal.

    Ingredient quantities adjust automatically, perfect for meal prep or sharing with others.

  5. After eating, confirm the serving size and tap Add to log it.

  6. Your calories and macros will update on your home dashboard, showing what you’ve consumed for the day.

Tip: For a full overview, tap the Nutrition block on the home dashboard to view your food diary.


Search for a food in the food library

This option allows you to quickly find individual foods with flexible portion sizes for precise tracking.

  1. Tap the Nutrition block on your home dashboard.

  2. Select + Add Food under the meal you want to log.

  3. Enter the food name in the search bar then tap Search “food” in food library. You must tap Search to see accurate results.

  4. Review the results. If nothing appears, tap the All Food tab for more options.

  5. Select your food item.

  6. Choose the correct measurement unit, enter the food weight

  7. Finalize by tapping Add to [Meal].

Tip: Use a food scale for the most accurate tracking.


Scan the barcode of a packaged food

This option allows you to quickly log packaged items by scanning their barcode for instant nutrition details.

  1. Tap the meal category where you want to add food.

  2. Tap the barcode scanner icon (top right corner).

  3. Point your phone at the barcode. The app will capture calories and macros automatically.

    Note: This feature is still in beta. Always double-check the nutrition info on the package.

  4. Enter the number of grams you’re eating.

  5. Tap Add to [Meal] to finalize.
