If you want to play your workouts on a Roku TV, the first step is to try casting from your phone. But if you don’t see a cast icon, that's normal sometimes. Roku TV doesn’t support native casting from iPhones, and some Androids don’t work either.
But there’s a simple workaround: Use a free app like “Screen Mirroring for Roku” on your Fire TV.
Step-by-step: Mirror your phone using “Screen Mirroring for Roku”
Download “Screen Mirroring for Roku” on your phone
On iPhone or Android, go to the App Store or Google Play
Search for “Screen Mirroring for Roku” (look for one by AirBeamTV or iStreamer)
Download and install the app (it’s free)
Connect both your phone and Roku TV to the same Wi-Fi network
This is essential — it won’t work otherwise
Open the app and select your Roku TV
The app will scan for nearby devices
Choose your Roku device from the list
Follow the prompts to begin screen mirroring
Approve any permissions the app asks for
Some iPhones may ask to start “Broadcast” — go ahead
Open the Studio Era app and start your workout
Your phone screen will now appear on your Roku TV
The workout will play full screen.
Note:
The free version of the mirroring app works great for workouts, though you may see a short ad at startup
Audio and resolution quality may vary slightly based on your Wi-Fi speed
