When casting your workouts to a Fire TV, you may notice that the cast icon doesn’t appear. This is expected, Fire TV devices don’t support native casting from iPhones, and some Android devices may also experience compatibility issues.
The good news is there is a simple workaround. You can use the free Airscreen app on your Fire TV to mirror your phone screen.
Set up Airscreen on Fire TV
Download Airscreen on your Fire TV
Open the App Store on your Fire TV
Search for Airscreen
Install the app (it's free)
Open Airscreen and set it up
Launch the Airscreen app
Select Start or Enable when prompted
If asked to allow network access, approve the request
Connect your devices to the same WiFi
Your phone and Fire TV must be connected to the same WiFi network for casting to work.
Use screen mirroring from your phone
iPhone: Open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring, then select your Fire TV from the list
Android: Open Cast or Smart View from Quick Settings, then select your Fire TV
Open the Studio Era app and start your workout
Open the Studio Era app and start your workout. Your phone screen will now appear on your Fire TV, and workouts will play in full screen.
