Connect my Garmin watch to Studio Era

Updated over a week ago

Studio Era tracks your steps by syncing with Apple Health on iPhone or Google Fit on Android. Garmin watches do not sync directly with these platforms, but you can connect them easily using a free bridging app.

Follow the steps below based on your phone type.

If you're using an iPhone (Apple Health)

Use the Power Sync for Garmin Connect app:

  1. Download Power Sync from the App Store.

  2. Open the app and sign in with your Garmin Connect account.

  3. Grant permissions to sync steps and activity into Apple Health.

  4. Open the Studio Era app

  5. Go to Home

  6. Tap Connect Apple Health.

  7. Follow the prompts to allow syncing.

That's it! Your Garmin steps will now sync into Studio Era through Apple Health.

Note: Data only transfers to Apple Health while the Garmin Connect app is open in the foreground. If the app is closed or running in the background, the data will not sync until you open the app and complete a successful device sync.

If you’re using an Android phone (Google Fit)

Use the Health Sync app:

  1. Download Health Sync from the Play Store.

  2. Open the app and follow the setup prompts.

  3. Choose Garmin Connect as the source and Google Fit as the destination.

  4. Grant permissions to sync steps.

  5. Open the Studio Era app → Go to Home → Tap Connect Google Fit.

  6. Follow the prompts to allow syncing.

That’s it. Your Garmin steps will now sync into Studio Era through Google Fit.

Still not working?

  • Make sure you’re logged into the correct Garmin account.

  • Confirm all permissions are granted in both the bridging app and Garmin Connect.

  • Check that Studio Era is properly connected to your health app.
